Client feedback
Skyelight gives client feedback a specific location, keeps it in one place and shows clients the reply to each request.
The problem
Client feedback arrives in every format except a useful one: a 40-line email, a PDF with red circles, a voice memo, a text at 9pm that says “can we make it pop more?”
You spend hours translating. Which page? Which version? Did they mean the header or the hero? Then you make the change and send a summary email, and they reply with a new list that includes two things you already fixed.
Often the work is fine and the feedback process is what makes the project feel messy.
Where Skyelight fits
Invite clients as reviewers and send them a link to the work in progress. Reviewers are free on every plan. On a preview with the review badge, they pin without installing anything. They click what they want to talk about and leave a comment, and the thread is pinned to that element on the page they were looking at.
Clients have no markup tools to learn. When you fix something, you reply on their thread, so they see the answer where they asked the question.
What you get
- Less translation, because feedback arrives pinned to the element it’s about.
- Fewer rounds. Clients see what changed, so they stop re-sending old notes.
- Visible progress. Clients can see which threads are resolved.
- Clear sign-off. When no threads are open, the round is done.
- A record of decisions. If a decision is questioned later, the thread shows who asked for what, and when.
